The
Cheltenham Motor Club
Hot
on the heels of being named the CAMRA Gloucestershire Club of
the Year for 2006, the Cheltenham Motor Club has now gone one
better and has clinched the title of CAMRA South West Region
clubof the Year. This is a truly magnificent achievement. The
club has promoted real ale wholehertedly for a long time and
regularly supports Gloucestershire breweries. Neil Way is the
club steward and his friendly personality combined with his
passion for looking after and serving a wide selection of excellent
traditional beer has made the Cheltenham Motor Club one of the
best palces to drink read ale in the town.
The
friendly clubhouse of the Cheltenham Motor Club used to be an
old pub - the Little Crownn Inn. It is situated in Upper Park
Street which is a small cul-de-sac running parallel to the London
Road (A40) by the Hales Road junction. there is a footpath leading
directly to the club via London Road (opposite the Sandford
Mill Road turning).
